Definitely and absolutely the best food we had in the whole Sardinia! Tasty, simple but elevated, fresh and great for the price you’re paying. The waiters are warm, nice and the atmosphere is great. We compared it to Italian workers food - in the best way possible. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! A MUST GO IN LA MADDALENA!

The very best authentic and local food you can find on the island. The service was impeccable, all the staff was extremely nice and helpful. If you are in La Maddalena is a must. Large portion, fresh seafood, great local atmosphere and staff. In fact, it was one of the few places we have been where all the customers are local.

Had a marvelous spaghetti allo scoglio; also tasted the veal milanese and ravioli ricota, which were both nice, not as amazing as the scoglio. This is an off the beaten path place; that said, don't come back expecting a bargain, as prices are in line with other nice restaurants in Maddalena. I would come back, and probably will Note: I did come back. Made another visit the second day after and still remain quite positive about the restaurant. Had an amazing scallops and scampi local style ravioli; tasted the tagliata and both were superb! I repeat: not a low budget place, but despite its non pretentious setting, it offers amazing food. Service is friendly also. Won't mind coming a third time Ps2: they offered a free Murtilo drink appetizer at the end of the meals, which was powerful and mouth numbing - two great adjectives in my dictionary Ps3: added picture of petite gatot, which I found special

Love the home feel. Had the best pasta Linguine allo scoglio. The grilled squid was also very good. Highly recommend.

When we first came to this restaurant, it didn't look so great from the outside but our landlady had recommended it, so we gave it a try. We ended up loving it and where super happy how Nino, the owner, takes create care of his clients. The fresh fish we had was absolutely delicious. The Trattoria is next to navy barracks and mostly drew locals, including the fire brigade, which for us was a great sign. The interior is simple but the focus is on great food, which we found to be the right priority. Highly recommended!

We worried when first arriving here because we entered the bar/cafe area first (on the left) and luckily the lady behind the counter pointed her arm towards the adjoining dining area which is large. (large enough for 2 tour groups who came in later) we were the first ones seated a little before noon (because we haven’t acclimated to Italian eating times) a group of firefighters came in after us and we were excited. The covered outdoor eating is pleasant and the seafood was really fresh. The thing that docked my rating is the salty scale (a little too much) the bread basket was the best we’ve had during our 6-day Italy travels. The server was generous with bread basket refills and complimentary mirto digestif offered at the end.

A simple restaurant/bar with ample seating and a menu featuring both fish and meat dishes. The moscardini (baby octopus) were tender, coated in a flavorful, slightly spicy tomato sauce, and the seafood parmigiana was equally satisfying. The standout dish was the seafood linguine, with perfectly al dente pasta and a delicious seafood mix. However, the mussels in white wine sauce, while plump and juicy, were overly salty, and the sauce was too oily. For dessert, the sorbetto was tangy and refreshing, and the seadas had a slightly sweet ricotta-orange filling, freshly fried with a drizzle of honey. The crema catalana was a letdown - curdled with an unmelted sugar layer on top. Service was professional but lacked warmth, and we experienced a long wait for our mains. Prices were consistent with those on the island.
